Ken Fait’s passion for pottery took shape in 1976, where he first mastered the art of hand-thrown clay, creating pieces that reflected the natural beauty of California’s coastline and landscapes. In 1985, he acquired West Coast Pottery Inc., breathing new life into the business with his artistic vision. Soon after, his brother Bobby joined the team, transforming the venture into a true family legacy.

From its humble beginnings crafting pottery locally, West Coast Pottery has grown into a global celebration of art and design. Today, we collaborate with talented artisans from Vietnam, Indonesia, China, and beyond, sourcing handcrafted pieces that tell unique stories. Our thoughtfully curated collection blends the spirit of California with the rich traditions of global artistry, offering timeless fountains, planters, and pottery that inspire and elevate both indoor and outdoor spaces.
